Rode to a record of 4-3 in postseason action... Named to the All-Big 12 team in Horsemanship... Selected an Academic All-American for her outstanding efforts in the classroom... Benes finished her first season with the Horned Frogs with a regular season record of 7-6-1 ... Had one MOP in a scrimmage against North Central Texas ... Her season-high score of 77.5 was against UT-Martin, winning her point by a margin of four ... Finished the regular season with an average score of 72.96 ... Competed in all seven postseason meets, finishing 5-2-0 ... Won her point against Auburn in the team semifinals competition in the NCEA Championship by a margin of 9.5.

Benes made her collegiate debut for Auburn against Ole Miss in Horsemanship, winning her point 65-60 ... Scored her career-best 76.5 on the road against then-ranked No. 4 Georgia ... Rode in exhibition against Texas A&M, winning her point after posting a 71.5 ... Rode to a tie against South Carolina in exhibition.
