TCU Ranked Sixth in United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll

TCU comes in as top ranked team in Big 12
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – As the start of a new chapter draws near, the TCU women's soccer program was ranked sixth nationally in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, the organization announced Tuesday.
The 2025 season saw many historic moments for TCU, highlighted by the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA College Cup. The Horned Frogs posted an 18-3-3 record on the season while also winning the Big 12 Regular Season crown for the fourth time in the past six seasons.
A total of 12 returners and 16 newcomers make up the 2026 Frog roster that looks to build upon its success had the previous season. Of the newcomers, six of this year's new players have have played a role at former Division I programs such as Amelie Darey (Butler), Peyton Nourse (Florida State), Zoe Cuneio (Purdue), Gianna Owens (California), Eres Freifeld (North Carolina) and Cameron Byrd (Texas)
Emma Yolinsky leads the returning Frogs in goals scored, putting a total of nine in the back of the net last season. The redshirt sophomore looks to continue upon her productive first year in Fort Worth in which she also posted five assists and nearly 1500 minutes played in one of the most dynamic attack cohorts in the country.
An All-Big 12 performer in 2025, junior Cameron Patton looks to continue upon her success had during her first two years with TCU. The Austin, Texas, native tallied four goals and eight assists last season, serving as a versatile piece that can defend or attack in any instance for the Frogs.
Kamdyn Fuller is another piece of the puzzle that is eyeing a productive second season with the program after being named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year last season and coming in at No. 2 on TopDrawerSoccer's Postseason Top-100 Freshmen list. The sophomore had four goals and five assists last season and looks to play a large role in a talented midfield.
Serving as a key piece to the TCU defense, Olivia Geller looks to build off one of the most dominant goalkeeping postseasons in the program's recent memory. The junior collected 65 saves and six shutouts in 2025, highlighted by a remarkable three-game stretch in TCU's final three contests of the season which saw 24 saves that helped guide TCU to its furthest NCAA Tournament run in school history.
The Frogs will begin their 2026 campaign on Aug. 13 at 7 p.m., as they will hit the road to take on Wisconsin. TCU's home opener is set for Aug. 16 against UTSA at 7 p.m.
