Miller Earns Co-Medalist Honors at Watersound Invitational

TCU places third as a team
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Freshman Nathan Miller earned co-medalist honors Wednesday at the Watersound Invitational, held at The Third Course at Watersound Club.
Miller recorded his second-straight round of 4-under 66 to tie with Daniel Tolf (Ole Miss) and Michael Riebe (Vanderbilt) for first place at 9-under 201. Miller, who attended Trinity Christian Academy in Dallas last season, began his round with back-to-back bogeys and then finished the remaining 16 holes at 6-under.
Miller is the first Horned Frog to finish atop the leaderboard since Gustav Frimodt won the Valero Texas Collegiate on Sept. 11, 2023.
Toby Wilt and Charlie Wylie tied for 29th place finishing at even-par 210. Wylie had his best round of the tournament on Wednesday, shooting 3-under 67 to jump up 19 spots.
Sam Udovich shot 4-over 74 to finish 1-over 211 and tie for 36th place.
TCU repeated its second-round performance shooting 5-under 275. At 10-under 830, the Frogs moved up three spots to third. No. 8 Arkansas (-19) won the tournament one spot over No. 3 Vanderbilt (-18).
The Horned Frogs will next play at the Desimone Invitational, March 9-10, at Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, Calif.
