FORT WORTH – The ITA Kickoff Weekend championship match between No. 5 TCU and Georgia has been postponed until Sunday due to unfavorable road conditions.
The match will not start before 1 p.m. pending a decision by the head official.
The Horned Frogs and Bulldogs each won their first round matches on Friday to set up the Fort Worth Regional final.
TCU (3-1) blanked UT Arlington 4-0 to position itself to earn its eighth consecutive berth to the ITA Indoor National Championships.
The championship dual will be the first of two head-to-heads between the storied programs this season. TCU travels to Athens on March 13 to battle the Bulldogs (2-0) and begin a home-and-home scheduling agreement that will send Georgia back to Fort Worth in 2027.
TCU and Georgia, who have combined to win 11 national championships, last squared off in the quarterfinals of the 2023 ITA Indoor National Championships. The Horned Frogs won the match 5-0 and went on to capture their second straight indoor national title.
Fans unable to travel can stream the match via SwingVision while admission to all TCU home matches is free.
