Horned Frogs prepared for clash against conference foes
HOUSTON, Texas – For the third straight weekend the TCU swimming and diving program will be in action, this time at the Big 12 East Championships, running from Jan. 16-17 and hosted by the University of Houston at CRWC Natatorium.
The teams TCU will go up against in the two-day meet include Houston, Iowa State, West Virginia and Cincinnati.
LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend, the TCU swimming and diving program earned a pair of Senior Day wins over in-state foe Texas Permian Basin. The women's side won 228-51, and the men posted a 215-76 victory over UTPB. TCU won all but one event for the day. A total of 31 out of 32 events had a TCU representative atop the leaderboards at the conclusion of the meet.
David Ekdahl went on to earn Big 12 Diver of the Week honors after his sweep on the springboard events. That occasion marks his 11th weekly conference accolade for his career.
