Kelly and Memoly are set to join new clubs after productive careers with the Horned Frogs
FORT WORTH – A pair of TCU women's soccer alumnae, Caroline Kelly and Lauren Memoly, have signed pro contracts for the upcoming season. Kelly, who formerly played for Brooklyn FC, will now represent Dallas Trinity FC of the USL Super League, while Memoly is set to join Grindavík, a club in a top-tier women's soccer league in Iceland.
"We couldn't be prouder of Lauren and Caroline as they take the next step in their careers," said head coach Eric Bell. "Their growth, work ethic and commitment to excellence have been a model for our program. Seeing them sign professional contracts is a testament to their dedication – and we can't wait to watch them succeed at the next level."
In her only season with the Frogs, Kelly was named to the All-Big 12 First Team, All-Big 12 Tournament Team and was tabbed Fourth-Team All-Midwest Region by United Soccer Coaches.
Kelly played in 22 games in 2024 and netted 13 goals while adding two assists. She was tied for the team lead and Big 12 lead in goals. Kelly notched two braces in 2024 and had a four-match goal streak. She netted the game-winning goal as she converted a penalty try against SFA in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Kearney, Missouri, native concluded her college career with 44 career goals, 101 points and 244 shots. Kelly was an all-conference performer three times in her career.
Memoly heads to Grindavík after spending four years with TCU and appearing in 90 out of 91 possible games. She earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors in 2024 along with being named to the CSC Academic All-District team in 2022 and 2024.
The Laguna Hills, California, native tallied a total of seven goals, five assists and 19 points while in Fort Worth. Memoly was an integral part in helping the team continue its streak of recent success, starting in 41 games and spending 4355 minutes on the pitch during her time with the Frogs.
