Five Earn Spot on DCTF All-Texas Teams

Deal selected to the first team

FORT WORTH – Five TCU football players were named to Dave Campbell's Texas Football All-Texas teams. The publication recognizes the top talent in the Lone Star State.

Defensive end Devean Deal earned a spot on the first team, while wide receiver Eric McAlister, offensive lineman Coltin Deery, linebacker Namdi Obiazor and safety Bud Clark were named to the second team.

McAlister, Obiazor and Clark were recognized earlier this summer on Phil Steele's 2025 Preseason Big 12 Team. McAlister was the Frogs' lone first-team selection, while Obiazor and Clark were named to the second team. Linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr was named to the third team and offensive guard Cade Bennett was on the fourth team.

The Big 12 will announced its preseason team ahead of its annual Media Days set to be held July 8-9 at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
