Schedule features six home meets
FORT WORTH – TCU Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield officially revealed the program's 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday.
The schedule, which consists of 12 regular season meets, features four matchups against teams who appeared in last season's NCEA National Championships.
TCU is set to host six home meets, with three of these being against teams who advanced to the postseason last year. The Frogs face off against each member of the four-team Big 12 twice during the season.
Home meets will be held at Bear Creek Farms in Burleson, Texas, with the exception of one which will take place at the Fort Worth Stock Show.
As a preview to the season TCU hosts West Texas A&M in a scrimmage on September 19.
To begin the campaign, the Horned Frogs will welcome two Big 12 foes to Burleson, starting with defending conference champion Oklahoma State on Friday, October 3. The following Thursday Baylor visits TCU.
For the first time of the season, TCU will hit the road on a west coast swing to face UC Davis and Fresno State on October 16 and 17. The Fresno State meet marks the Horned Frogs' third Big 12 contest of the year.
Two elite SEC foes visit TCU to conclude the fall season. The Horned Frogs will first play host to Auburn on Halloween. Last season, the Tigers spent a majority of the season ranked No. 1 in the country and earned the No. 2 overall seed in the NCEA Championships.
In the final meet of the 2025 calendar year, TCU will face off with defending National Champion Georgia at Bear Creek Farms on November 7.
Keeping with program tradition, TCU will open its spring slate at the historic Fort Worth Stock Show on January 29. This season, the annual meet at the historic site is against UC Davis, marking the second matchup of the year between the two programs.
For the first time since 2021, the Horned Frogs will head to Brookings, South Dakota, to face off with South Dakota State on the weekend of February 6. While in Brookings TCU will also compete in a neutral site meet against Delaware State.
The road trip continues for the Frogs on February 13 when they head to Oklahoma State for their second meeting with the Cowgirls of the campaign. This meet also gives TCU a preview of the 2026 Big 12 Championship site.
In the final road meet of the season, TCU faces Baylor in Waco before coming home to face Fresno State in its regular season finale.
The postseason begins for TCU on March 27 with the first round of the Big 12 Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The Championship round follows on March 28, should the Horned Frogs advance.
The annual NCEA Championships in Ocala, Florida, begin on Thursday, April 16, with the semifinals following on April 17. The 2025-26 Collegiate Equestrian season culminates with the NCEA National Championship on Saturday, April 18, at World Equestrian Center.
TCU is amidst its winningest era ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. The Horned Frogs have posted four straight winning seasons for the first time in the Big 12 era and just the second time in program history. The program has also been strong at home as of late, posting 23 straight home regular season wins dating back to 2021-22, the longest streak in the NCEA.
Last season the Horned Frogs went 10-6 and were the No. 4 overall seed in the NCEA Championships. This success led to Schoolfield being named Big 12 Coach of the Year. TCU returns 18 members of last season's squad, including All-Big 12 Team member Lilly Goldstein and NCEA Ariat Honorable Mention Reining All-American Lannie-Jo Lisac.
The returnees also boast strong results in the classroom, with 14 being selected to last season's NCEA Academic Honor Roll. In addition, Kylie Baker, Kaylene Cunningham, Alexandra Lipacis and Jordyn Scelsa were tabbed to the NCEA APHA All-Academic First Team, while Goldstein earned a spot on the Second Team.
