Horned Frogs will head to Auburn to begin postseason play
FORT WORTH – TCU men's golf will return to postseason play May 12-14 at Auburn University Golf Club in Auburn, Ala.
As a team, the Horned Frogs will be making their 33rd NCAA Regional appearance in the last 35 opportunities. The last TCU team to make a regional was in 2023, which was also at Auburn.
TCU made 30-straight appearances from 1990-2019. It's the 34th consecutive season that TCU men's golf will have representation in the postseason. Last season, Gustav Frimodt qualified individually and competed in the Austin Regional.
The top five teams and top individual not on a qualifying team will advance to the NCAA Men's Golf Championship, held May 23-28 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. TCU last qualified for the NCAA Championship in 2021.
The No. 9 seeded Horned Frogs are coming off a fifth-place finish at the Big 12 Championship last week at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla. Joe Pagdin placed seventh to lead the Frogs and earn a spot on the All-Big 12 Tournament team.
