
Pagdin Earns All-Big 12 Tournament Team Honors

Horned Frogs finish fifth as a team
TULSA, Okla. – Behind Joe Pagdin's All-Big 12 performance, the TCU men's golf team placed fifth at the Big 12 Championship at Southern Hills Country Club on Thursday.
Pagdin, who entered the day one shot back of first place, shot 2-over 72. The Seffield, England native holed-out an eagle from the bunker on No. 13 to move to 1-under but was 3-over for the remaining five holes. Pagdin finished 2-over 282 and in a tie for seventh place. His spot in the top 10 earned him all-tournament team honors. Oklahoma State's Preston Stout won the championship at 3-under.
Toby Wilt matched his best round with a 1-over 71. His score of 10-over 290 placed him in a tie with freshman Charlie Wylie for 23rd place.
Another TCU freshman, Hudson Wilt, finished tied for 53rd place with a score of 19-over 299.
Jack Beauchamp had his best round of the championship at 1-over 71 to finish tied for 58th place.
The Horned Frogs matched yesterday's total at 7-over 287 to finish 34-over 1154. Seeded 10th, TCU finished better than five top 50 teams. Winning the championship was No. 4 ranked Oklahoma State (-2) who was the only team to finish under par.
The NCAA men's golf selection show will be held on Wednesday, April 30 at noon on GOLF Channel.
