
Frogs in Third After First Day of Big 12

Pagdin is in the top 10
TULSA, Okla. – TCU's exceptional second round allowed the Horned Frogs to move into third place as the first 36 holes were completed at the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday at Southern Hills Country Club.
Only No. 4 ranked Oklahoma State had a better second round than TCU's 3-over 282. It was 14 strokes better than the opening round of 17-over 297. Overall, the Frogs (+20) are trailing only the Cowboys (+5) and No. 5 ranked Arizona State (+1).
All three schools along with Colorado (+21) will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on hole No. 1 on Wednesday.
In the second round, Joe Pagdin and Hudson Wilt led the Frogs with scores of 2-under 69. Pagdin is tied for ninth at 3-over 143.
H. Wilt had one of two eagles for the tournament and did so on the 13th hole, a 632-yard par 5. H. Wilt is tied for 30th at 7-over 147.
Charlie Wylie is tied with Toby Wilt for 19th place at 5-over 145. Wylie shot an opening round even-par 71 before a 3-over 74 in the second round.
T. Wilt did just the opposite with a 74 in the first round and 71 in the second.
