
No. 13 TCU Takes a Solo Third at MountainView Collegiate

Min-Gaultier notches second straight runner-up finish
TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 13 TCU further solidified its candidacy for a high seed in the NCAA Tournament across its three-day stay in the Sonoran Desert.
The Horned Frogs placed a solo third at the MountainView Collegiate, carding a five-over 293 on Tuesday's final round to finish the 54-hole affair plus-15 (879). TCU's final round score was the second lowest of any program in the 14-team field that toed the tee box at The Preserve Golf Club.
TCU notched its seventh consecutive finish of fourth-or-better.
The Frogs finished one stroke back of No. 16 Arizona for a share of runner-up honors.
Co-host Kansas State won the tournament, as the 30th-ranked Wildcats finished four-over (868).
Camille Min-Gaultier and Kirstin Angosta combined to make TCU the only team in the field with a pair of top-five finishers. Min-Gaultier placed as the individual runner-up, signing a final scorecard of two-under 214. Angosta played even-par golf and tied for fourth.
Min-Gaultier extended her team-leading streak of top-20s to six with the performance. She finished minus-1 in Tuesday's final round and shot a three-under 69 over her first 18 holes.
From La Londe-les-Maures, France, Min-Gaultier has posted back-to-back runner-up finishes. She placed a solo second in TCU's team championship at the Chevron Collegiate on Feb. 25. The freshman has finished under par in 11 of her last 15 rounds dating back to the Frogs' second-of-three team titles this season at the Jim West Challenge in October.
Angosta recorded her third top-five of the season. A product of nearby Coppell High School, Angosta was a combined four-under on par-4 and par-5s. Only tournament champion Carla Bernat (-11, 205) produced a better aggregate score.
Meagan Winans made it three Frogs in the top-20, playing her way into a seven-way tie for 11th at five-over. The senior bagged three birdies and finished plus-1 in round three.
Sofia Barroso Sá and Gracie McGovern tied for 42nd and 61st to round out the TCU leaderboard.

TCU breaks for one week before teeing it up at its penultimate regular season event, the Betsy Rawls Invitational, on March 17-18 at University of Golf Club. The Horned Frogs then host the spring Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club the following week. Admission to the Frogs' second-of-two home tournaments in 2024-25 is free and open to the public.
