No. 16 TCU heads to Austin in search of fourth win in 2024-25
FORT WORTH – The No. 16 TCU women's golf team will challenge an elite field for its fourth team title of the season when it tees off at the 48th Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at University of Texas Golf Club.
Teams will engage in two rounds of stroke play on Monday, followed by a final 18 holes on Tuesday.
Half of the field cracked the top 50 of the latest Scoreboard team rankings. Joining the Horned Frogs among the headliners are No. 2 Arkansas, whom TCU defeated by 10 strokes to win the Chevron Collegiate on Feb. 25, No. 7 Texas and No. 13 LSU.
TCU's lineup card features Camille Min-Gaultier, Kirstin Angosta, Meagan Winans, Sofia Barroso Sá and Gracie McGovern.
The five players have led TCU to a single-season record three team titles through eight events in 2024-25. TCU has finished no worse than fourth in seven straight events dating back to its championship at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in September.
Min-Gaultier, Angosta and Barroso Sá give TCU three top 100 players. Min-Gaultier is TCU's highest ranked individual at No. 64, Angosta is tabbed 80th and Barroso Sá is slotted 94th. Combined with Winans, ranked No. 101, TCU is one of only two teams in the Big 12 alongside No. 8 Arizona State with five top 150 players.
The Betsy Rawls Invitational is the sight of TCU's second of 21 team championships under head coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin. TCU finished first in 1997 in Ravaioli-Larkin's third season at the helm.
TCU is competing in the event for the 17th time since the 1995-96 campaign.

The University of Texas Golf Club is a championship-caliber golf course created by Bechtol Russell Golf Course Design in 2003. Monday's 36-hole marathon commences with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Teams will tee off in 10-minute intervals on holes one and 10 from 8:15-10:25 a.m. to begin Tuesday's final round.
Players will compete in threesomes with teams repairing for round three based on results.
The tournament is scored as five-count-four.

- TCU has won 55 all-time team championships, 21 of which have come under the leadership of Angie Ravaioli-Larkin.
- Ravaioli-Larkin is in her 31st season as the head coach of TCU women's golf. A lifelong Texan, she assumed the program helm in the fall of 1994 and is the longest-tenured head coach at TCU and across all Big 12 women's sport programs.

- Always a point of emphasis, TCU's birdie game has blossomed in 2024-25. The Frogs' seven-player roster has tallied a combined 389 birdies, good for an average of 48.6 per tournament. The Frogs tallied a tournament-leading and season-high 58 birdies in their team championship at the Chevron Collegiate. TCU led the Collegiate Invitational at GCC field with 51 on their way to shooting a four-under 860 and finishing as the outright runner-up. TCU birdied 53 holes in its Jim West Challenge championship and bagged a tournament-leading 39 birdies on their way to the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational team title. At the Carmel Cup, TCU carded 29 of its 42 birdies over the final two rounds.
- With three regular season events remaining, TCU is just 121 birdies shy of breaking its single-season record (508), set by the 2021-22 team.
- Min-Gaultier has placed as the runner-up in two straight events ahead of the Betsy Rawls Invitational.
- Min-Gaultier has produced an aggregate score of 15-under (417) over TCU's last pair of tournaments.

Winans set a collegiate low-54 hole record (-6, 210) and tied for 12th at the Chevron Collegiate and followed up with a T11 at the MountainView Collegiate.
- Winans ranks second on the squad in birdies with 79.
- Winans began her senior season by tying for ninth at the Carmel Cup. She was the No. 2 overall finisher among Big 12 players.
- Angosta won the Jim West Challenge on Oct. 22, shooting a 10-under 206.
- Angosta was tabbed Big 12 Golfer of the Month for October of 2024.
- Angosta placed a solo second in TCU's championship run at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational, shooting a three-under 213.
- Angosta leads TCU with four top-10s, her most recent arriving in the form of a T4 (E, 216) at the MountainView Collegiate on March 4.
- McGovern tied for 10th (+1, 214) at the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate for her first career top-10. She led the 60-player field in par-3 scoring (2.91, -1) and shot a two-under 69 in the final round.
- McGovern produced TCU's best score over rounds two and three in the Carmel Cup. She shot a four-over 148 over the final 36 holes on her way to a tie for 20th at Pebble Beach.
- McGovern the world No. 9 junior amateur golfer in 2023 and was ranked as high as seventh in the Rolex Junior Rankings that same year.
