Douglas breaks his own school record

AUSTIN – TCU track and field's Jayden Douglas bested his own school record in the 400m hurdles on Thursday night of the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, highlighting the Horned Frogs' performances.

Douglas finished with the second fastest time in the prelims, advancing to tomorrow's final. He was joined by Amelliah Birdow and Tia Williams on the women's side who also qualified for the 400m hurdles finals.

In the multi's, Elise Dobson completed the final events of the Heptathlon, placing fifth overall with a score of 5172, the second best in TCU history.

The Frogs also saw strong finishes from Lloyd Frilot (second) and Georgia Scott (10^th) in the 800m. Anastacia Gonzales placed fifth in the 1500m, and Stone Burke ran the second fastest men's steeplechase in program history.

Distance runners Mckenzie Bailey and Johnson Lagat closed out the night for TCU with top 10 times in school history in the 5,000m.
