Tucker Named Big 12 Track Athlete of the Week

Freshman garners first all-conference weekly honor
FORT WORTH – After a strong start to her outdoor season at the TCU Alumni Invitational, TCU track and field freshman London Tucker was named Big 12 Track and Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.
Racing at home and outdoors for the first time in 2025, Tucker lit up the track helping TCU win two events and placing third in another.
In the women's 100m dash, the freshman ran a blistering 11.19 (3.1 wind), tied for the third-fastest performance ever in school history. Her time also ranks second in the nation and fourth in the world this year. Tucker also helped TCU's 4x100m relay run the seventh-fastest mark in program history with a 43.73. The Frogs relay squad ranks second in the NCAA so far, this outdoor season.
Competing in the field events, Tucker finished third overall in the long jump with a mark of 6.04m. She ranks fourth in the Big 12 in the event and inside the top 25 nationally.
Tucker and the Frogs are back on the track March 27-29 in Austin at the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
