TCU Finishes Third at All-American Intercollegiate

Roden places a season-best sixth to lead the Frogs
HUMBLE, Texas – TCU moved up one spot to finish in third place at the All-American Intercollegiate Tuesday at the Golf Club of Houston.
Scott Roden moved up 16 spots after shooting 3-under 69. He finished tied for sixth at 2-under 214, which is a season best and his third top 20 finish.
Freshman Charlie Wylie turned in his best round of the tournament at 1-under 71. Finishing even-par 216, Wylie was tied for 12th place for his second top 20 finish of the season.
Jack Beauchamp and Toby Wilt tied for 31st place at 4-over 220. Joe Pagdin was one back at 5-over 221 and finished tied for 35th place.
On the Member Course next door, Ethan Dial led four TCU individuals. He shot even-par 72 on Tuesday to finish in fifth place at 1-over 217. The other three Horned Frogs competing were freshmen as Blake Burt finished 13th at 9-over 225, Hudson Wilt tied for 16th at 12-over 228 and Aidan Dortch tied for 21st place at 13-over 229.
The next tournament will be The Goodwin held March 27-29 at the Stanford Golf Course in Palo Alto, Calif.
