Frogs set to compete in Federal Way, Wash.
FEDERAL WAY – The TCU swimming and diving team is set for the 2025 Big 12 Championship in Federal Way, WA, at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center on Tuesday, Feb. 25–Saturday, March 1.
Preliminary swimming events will begin at 12 p.m. each day while the finals portion for each swimming event will begin at 8 p.m.
The diving preliminaries are set to begin at 1:30 p.m. and the finals will start at 7:15 p.m. The Championship will be broadcast on ESPN+. For the complete broadcast schedule, visit big12sports.com.
FOLLOW ALONG LAST TIME OUT
The Frogs swept the podium in the men's 100 back—Nigel Forbes took first, Filip Suchanski second, and Elliott Jones third.
Claire Chahbandour made history in the women's 100 breast by finishing first with a time of 59.91, breaking the school record. Ella Stein earned third, setting a personal best of 1:01.57.
In the women's 200 fly, Jordan Edwards claimed first with a personal record of 2:02.22, while Stella Todd finished third.
Jadon Wuilliez won the men's 50 free touching the wall at 19.85. Luke Dimicelli finished the event third with a time of 20.02.
In the men's 1650 free, Kornel Kohalmi set a new personal best, finishing third with a time of 15:29.03.
Filip Suchanski added to his success by winning the men's 200 back. Edgar Cicanci followed placing third.
Aaron Wilmes finished third in the men's 500 freestyle, while Jeanne Dahmen earned third in the women's 100 fly with a time of 54.66.
In the women's 200 IM, Colby Hurt set a new personal record to secure second with a time of 2:02.47, closely followed by Karolin Kostar in third at 2:02.51.
Viktor Hristov finished second in the men's 100 free, clocking a personal-best 43.77. Dimicelli finished just behind in third at 43.78.
