The Frogs are back in action on Sunday vs. Brown

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF. – The TCU women's tennis team lost to the UCSB Gauchos, 4-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Arnhold Tennis Center.

LEE'S THOUGHTS
"It was a great college tennis match today, a great atmosphere with great level from both teams," Head Coach Lee Walker said. "It felt like a 4-3 match, we lost 4-0 but could've won 4-0, we could've won 4-3 or lost 4-3. It was good to have this early in the season so we can learn from it.

"It was a lot of fun, a good crowd and Coach Simon Thibodeau does a great job, they have a good squad. I thought we had them and I thought we were ready, but we didn't get them. We'll be ready for the next match when we have a good Brown team coming in next Sunday."

THE RUNDOWN
The match started in doubles, where UCSB won on courts one and three to take the doubles point.

In singles, the Horned Frogs jumped to a hot start where Isabel Pasucal, Raquel Caballero, Yu-Chin Tsai and Cayetana Gay all won their first set. However, the Gauchos proved too much for the Frogs, as UCSB won on courts one, four and six to secure the match, 4-0.
