
Castain Named MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, TCU Representatives Earns All-Region Honors

Horned Frogs bring home set of regional and national distinctions
FORT WORTH – A total of five individuals from the TCU women's soccer team took home a pair of United Soccer Coaches accolades, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
Senior Seven Castain was tabbed as a MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, while Morgan Brown, Kamdyn Fuller, Cameron Patton and Sydney Becerra earned All-Midwest Team honors.
Castain, one of the most decorated players in TCU women's soccer history, is currently tied for the single-season school record mark for goals with 17. Her 38 points ranks second in program history for a single season as well. The senior has pulled together six multi-goal matches this season, including two hat tricks. Castain has put five goals in the back of the net so far this NCAA Tournament, scoring those goals in the first two matches against Grambling State and Memphis.
Brown, a versatile player who has played multiple positions for the Frogs this season, has started in 22 matches for TCU, totaling three goals and five assists. The sophomore has played 80 or more minutes in 16 of her appearances this season, providing a consistent piece of depth for the Frogs.
Fuller has had one of the most standout freshman campaigns in TCU women's soccer history. The Big 12 Freshman of the Year has been a consistent force all season long, scoring four goals, earning five assists and tallying over 1600 minutes played at the midfield position.
Patton, a quick defender who creates many chances in the attacking game as well, has spent nearly 2000 minutes on the pitch this season. The sophomore has recorded four goals and eight assists on the season and is a mainstay in the TCU lineup.
Becerra chose to spend her last season in Fort Worth and has done nothing but stand out. She has six goals, eight assists and recently scored the game-winning penalty kick in overtime against Vanderbilt to send TCU to the College Cup.
Three women's finalists for the MAC Hermann Trophy will be named for the award on Wednesday, Dec. 10. The 2025 MAC Hermann Trophy banquet will be held at the historic Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis on Jan. 9, 2026, to formally announce this year's winners.
