Yolinsky Named Big 12 Freshman of the Week

Forward earns her first conference weekly honor
FORT WORTH – After helping lead the No. 5 TCU women's soccer team to an undefeated weekend of competition, Emma Yolinsky has been named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.
Yolinsky played 124 minutes across two road matchups against Arizona and Arizona State, putting up five shots with four of those coming on goal. Against the Wildcats, the Prosper, Texas native headed a ball into the back of the net in the 13th minute to give TCU all it needed in a gritty 1-0 road victory.
The redshirt freshman now has five goals on the season, with two of those coming in the past three games, and four assists in her first year in Fort Worth.
This marks Yolinsky's first weekly honor of her career. She is the fifth Horned Frog to take home a Big 12 award so far during the regular season, joining Seven Castain, Morgan Brown, Cameron Patton and Kamdyn Fuller.
