FORT WORTH – No. 10 TCU opens a stretch of three consecutive ranked Big 12 matchups, beginning with No. 14 Kansas on Wednesday, Oct. 22, and No. 17 BYU on Sunday, Oct. 25.
TCU NOTABLES
• The Frogs' 6-1 record in league play marks their best start since joining the Big 12 Conference.
• Additionally at 16-3, it marks the best record in school history through 19 matches since 2011 (also 16-3).
• TCU is back in the top 10 for the third time this season, checking in at No. 10 in the AVCA/TARAFLEX Coaches Poll.
• The Frogs have won a program record and Big 12-leading six matches against top-25 teams this season. Further, TCU is one of four teams nationally to have at least six victories over ranked opponents.
• TCU volleyball has its sights set on hosting postseason play in Fort Worth for the first time in school history. The Frogs were ranked No. 9 by the NCAA Selection Committee's in-season rankings.
• Sophomores Evan Hendrix and Becca Kelley represent TCU on the watch list for the 2025 AVCA Player of the Year Award, which features 47 student-athletes.
• For the second time this season, Hendrix was tabbed as the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week after leading the conference with 7.19 points per set.
• Playing on their home court, the Frogs have won 18 straight matches, dating back to last season. TCU is 24-1 in Schollmaier Arena since the start of 2024.
• The Frogs boast eight wins over RPI top-50 teams, tied for the sixth most in the country this season.
SERIES HISTORY
• TCU is 6-20 all-time against Kansas, most recently winning 3-1 in Fort Worth earlier this month.
• The Frogs have only won in Lawrence once in school history — the first meeting between the two programs in 1999 (3-2).
• TCU is 4-14 all-time against BYU.
• Last season, the Frogs won in Provo, handing the Cougars one of their only 14 losses in Smith Fieldhouse in the last 10 seasons.

• For the second time this season, sophomore outside hitter Evan Hendrix was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 21.
• Hendrix led the Big 12 with 7.19 points per set and 6.63 kills per set on the week. She also ranked second nationally in both categories as well.
• Against Cincinnati (10/15), she totaled 26 kills on a .297 clip and added 12 digs.
• Two days later, Hendrix racked up 27 kills on 76 swings and posted a career-high 23 digs in the win over Kansas State (10/17).
ON CLOUD #9
• TCU has earned the respect of everyone across the nation, including the NCAA Selection Committee, who tabbed the Horned Frogs as the No. 9 team in their in-season ranking.
• The committee considered several criteria to determine their rankings, including strength of schedule, top-10 wins and head-to-head competition.
• The in-season reveal offers fans an early look at potential NCAA tournament seedings ahead of Selection Sunday on Nov. 30.
• TCU is looking to earn a top-16 national seed for the first time in school history and host postseason volleyball in Fort Worth.

• Since 2000, only three players in TCU history have recorded 20+ kills and 20+ digs in the same match.
