FORT WORTH -- Eleven former TCU football student-athletes are headed to the NFL playoffs with their respective teams.
Houston Texans' defensive end Jerry Hughes was a two-time consensus All-American (2008-09) and the 2009 Lott IMPACT Trophy and Ted Hendricks Award winner at TCU. In his 15th NFL season, Hughes is the longest tenured Horned Frog among the 29 in the league.
Twenty-three TCU players have won Super Bowl championship rings, including 12 different in the last 18 seasons. TCU has had at least one player in the Super Bowl in 10 of the last 11 years.
Joe Noteboom is the lone Horned Frog in the NFL playoffs who has already won a Super Bowl as his Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.
