Roden finishes eighth to lead TCU
SAMMAMISH, Wash. – TCU finished eighth at the Sahalee Players Championship on Sunday at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.
The Horned Frogs shot 10-over 298 in the final round and finished 17-over for the tournament to finish ahead of UNLV (+21), North Carolina (+21), Northwestern (+22), Texas A&M (+24) and Washington (+41).
In his TCU debut, Scott Roden finished tied for eighth place at even-par 216. The senior shot 2-over 74 in the final round.
Ethan Dial, Joe Pagdin and Toby Wilt tied for 39th place at 7-over 223.
Freshman Charlie Wylie finished tied for 66th at 15-over 231. His 1-over 73 in the final round was his best score of the weekend.
Competing as an individual, Jack Beauchamp finished tied for 63rd place at 14-over 230.
TCU next be in action at the Valero Texas Collegiate, Sept. 21-23, at TPC San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.
