
Horned Frogs fall to Aggies, 2-0

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - TCU women's soccer fell to Texas A&M, 2-0, on Thursday night at Ellis Field. Caroline Kelly led the Horned Frogs with three shots and Olivia Geller tallied one save.
The Rundown
After a scoreless first half that saw the Frogs outshot 4-0, the Aggies struck first in the 52nd minute. MaKhiya McDonald put the Aggies on top with a shot from inside the 18.
The Frogs responded quickly after allowing the score as they fired off five straight shots, two of which were on target. Evie Baker tested the goalkeeper in tight which led to a clean look up top from Cameron Patton that missed high. Kelly had TCU's next closest look but her shot was blocked at the top of the 18.
The Aggies extended their lead to 2-0 as Mia Pante ran down a long pass and fired a shot inside the near post for a 2-0 lead in the 58th minute.

"We did not come out the way we wanted to and started off pretty slow in the first half. We did not play much better in the second half and we gave up a couple of goals and we got to learn from that."
