
TCU Moves Up to Fifth at Valero

Beauchamp is tied for sixth
SAN ANTONIO – TCU put together the Valero Texas Collegiate's second-best round on Sunday to move up four spots to fifth at TPC San Antonio.
Only tournament leader Ole Miss shot better than the Horned Frogs' 5-under 283. The Rebels were 8-under 280. TCU's overall score of 9-under 567 is three strokes out of third place.
Jack Beauchamp moved up 17 spots to finish the round tied for sixth place at 4-under 139. He made six birdies for a season-best score of 3-under 69.
No Frog moved up the leaderboard like Scott Roden, who jumped 25 spots to a tie for ninth place at 2-under 70. The senior made seven birdies, three of which came in the final five holes.
Joe Pagdin finished with back-to-back birdies on the way to a score of 1-under 143. He's just outside the top 20 at a tie for 22nd place.
Toby Wilt shot 2-under 34 on the back nine to finish 1-under 71. He moved up 19 spots to a tie for 31st place at even-par 144.
The Horned Frogs will begin the final round at 8:50 a.m. on hole No. 1.
