TCU Wraps Up Round Two at Big 12 Championship

Barroso Sá tied for 15th ahead of Saturday's final 18 holes
HOCKLEY, Texas – TCU sits in 10th place at the Big 12 Championship following the second round of play at The Clubs at Houston Oaks.
Sofia Barroso Sá is tied for 15th at plus-three (145) after shooting a four-over 75 on Friday. She is two strokes shy of a tie for seventh and will garner All-Tournament team accolades for the second straight season should she finish inside the top-10. Barroso Sá has scored par-or-better on 28 of her first 36 holes in Hockley.
TCU's second round standout showing belonged to Sofie Dimitrova. The freshman ascended from 34th into a tie for 25thon the individual leaderboard at five-over 147. Dimitrova carded a team-high nine birdies and recorded TCU's low round score of the morning at one-over. She played the back nine bogey free and finished the set two-under (34).
Meagan Winans and Kirstin Angosta are tied for 35th and 49th, respectively. Winans concluded her round six-over and is plus-nine (151) for the tournament. Angosta sits three strokes behind Winans.
Lois Lau shot a seven-over 78 for the second consecutive day and is tied for 56th (+14, 156).
Collectively, the Horned Frogs finished the second round 18-over (302). TCU was in sole possession of third place following round one. Just eight strokes separate teams six through 11 on the 13-team leaderboard ahead of the final 18 holes.
Saturday's championship round will be streamed live on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
