Frogs to face Bears Friday
FORT WORTH – The No. 1 TCU equestrian team heads to Waco, Texas to compete in the 2024 Big 12 Championship. The event is a two-day competition that will take place on Friday and Saturday. The first round of competition will be between TCU (11-1, 6-0) and Baylor (2-10, 1-5) in the semifinal meet starting at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.

The last time the Frogs met the Bears was earlier this season in Waco where the Frogs took the victory over the Bears, 12-7. TCU has an overall record of 14-24 and a current win streak of three meets against Baylor.
A Horned Frog victory would send them to the championship meet on Saturday where they would either compete against No. 2 Oklahoma State or No. 3 Fresno State for the Big 12 Championship title.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The meet is set to kick off at 10 a.m. with fences in the indoor arena of the Willis Family Equestrian Center. Reining is expected to begin at noon in the outdoor arena. Events will then move back into the indoor arena where flat should start around 1:45 p.m. Horsemanship will conclude the meet beginning at 3:35 p.m. in the outdoor arena.
BIG 12 RIDERS OF THE MONTH
Eight Horned Frogs have earned the Big 12 Rider of the Month honor for their respective events. This honor is given to one rider in each event every month.
