Horned Frogs dominant on both sides of the ball
The Horned Frogs started fast, taking advantage of a pair of Oklahoma State turnovers to build a 24-0 halftime lead as they held a 289-to-80 edge in total offense at the break.
TCU's defense had three takeaways for the first time since its 51-45 College Football Playoff Semifinal win over Michigan in 2022.
Savion Williams had a 1-yard touchdown run and 6-yard scoring reception 6:23 apart in the second quarter. Williams' touchdown catch, with 7 seconds left before halftime, capped a 9-play drive in which Josh Hoover was 8-of-8 for 98 yards. Hoover finished 26-of-35 on the night for 286 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions.
Playing against his former school, JP Richardson had 100 yards receiving on seven catches.
Cam Cook ran for two touchdowns with TCU's final points of the game coming via a Jordyn Bailey 59-yard run.
Up Next
TCU has an open date next Saturday before returning to action with a Nov. 23 home game against Arizona.
