Horned Frogs win for the fifth time in their last six games

Team Notes
•TCU (8-4, 6-3) has won three in a row and five of its last six games.
•The Horned Frogs have won eight games for the third time since 2015 with Sonny Dykes on staff for all three occasions. He was an analyst on the 11-win 2017 team and head coach of the 2022 13-victory College Football Playoff squad as well as this year's team.
•TCU led 20-7 at halftime and is 21-3 under Dykes when ahead at the break and 23-2 when in front after three quarters.
•TCU and Cincinnati met for just the fourth time in their history with the series tied at 2-2. The previous three games (2002-04) came when both schools were in Conference USA.
•TCU scored for the 406th consecutive game, the second-longest streak in NCAA history. No. 1 is Florida at 460 games (1988-present). The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).
•TCU wore a silver chrome helmet, white jersey and white pants.
Individual Notes
Offense
•Savion Williams had a pair of first half 2-yard scoring runs to give him six rushing touchdowns on the season, all coming in the last five games. It represents all his career scoring runs. He had none in his first 47 contests.
•Williams added three receptions for 16 yards.
•Jack Bech, the fifth player in TCU history with a 1,000-yard season, had 27 yards receiving on three catches. He has 1,034 yards on the year to move into fourth place for a season at TCU, trailing only Josh Doctson (1,327, 2015), Quentin Johnston (1,069, 2022) and Jalen Reagor (1,061, 2018). Doctson, Johnston and Reagor were first-round NFL draft picks.
•JP Richardson had two receptions for 50 yards to extend his streak with a catch to 39 consecutive games, tying for seventh-longest in the nation.
*Eric McAlister had three receptions for 36 yards, all for first downs. He leads the nation with 93.5 percent (29-of-31) of his catches going for first downs.
•Blake Nowell tied his career-high with three receptions for 75 yards.
•True freshman quarterback Hauss Hejny led TCU in rushing with a career-high 48 yards on eight carries.
Defense
•Johnny Hodges led TCU with nine tackles.
•Channing Canada had his first career interception in the TCU end zone to thwart a fourth-quarter Cincinnati scoring threat.
•Markis Deal recorded three tackles for loss, including his first sack of the season, as part of four stops.
•Bud Clark forced a fumble to go with eight tackles.
•Abe Camara had his second forced fumble of the season with Caleb Fox making his second recovery of the year.
Special Teams
•Ethan Craw had a career-best 65-yard punt, TCU's longest since Ethan Perry's 67-yard boot in 2014.
•Craw averaged 47.4 yards on five punts with four downed inside the 20, including three inside the 6. He pinned Cincinnati at its own 3 on the final series of the game.
•Kyle Lemmermann had field goals of 27 and 35 yards.
•Brent Matiscik recovered a muffed punt.
