
Women's Swim and Dive Conclude Two-Day Tri-Meet

DALLAS, Texas – The TCU women's swimming and diving team concluded the second day of its tri-meet against Arkansas and SMU this afternoon. TCU fell to both teams, scoring 137 points against Arkansas (161) and 127 points against SMU (168).
Nina Vadovicova had a strong performance, placing first in both of her events. She touched with a 1:01.39 in the 100 breaststroke and 2:12.21 in the 200 breaststroke.
Grad transfer, Maddy Burt, placed second in the 100 butterfly shaving over half a second from yesterday's event with a 54.41, the sixth fastest time in school history.
Colby Hurt placed third in the 400 IM with the fifth-best time in program history at a 4:18.95. She also had the eighth-best finish all-time in the 1650 freestyle with a 16:52.93.
On the diving side, TCU competed in the platform and in a team event. Lauren Cey finished second on platform with a 217.85 and Leah Fletcher finished fourth with a 214.50. The team also placed second with a school-record 291.45 points.
The dive team will travel to Austin next to compete in the Texas Diving Invitational on Nov. 15-17. The swim team will participate in the Art Adamson Invitational hosted by Texas A&M and featuring BYU on Nov. 20-22.
