Horned Frogs defeat Colorado

HOCKLEY, Texas – TCU split its first day of Big 12 Match Play with a 5-0-0 win over Colorado and a 3-2-0 loss to Texas Tech on Monday at Houston Oaks Country Club.

Scott Roden and Charlie Wylie won both of their matches. Roden defeated Colorado's Dylan McDermott, 1UP and then Texas Tech's Ben Gregg, 4&3. Wylie beat and Texas Tech's Tim Widemeyer, 2&1.

TCU picked up three points for the day, tied with Baylor in Pool D for second place. Tech won both of its matches and leads Pool D with six points.

The Horned Frogs will face Baylor Tuesday morning at 7:45 a.m.
