Horned Frogs return to action Wednesday at 7:45 a.m.
HOCKLEY, Texas – TCU dropped matches to Baylor and Iowa State Tuesday on the second day of Big 12 Match Play at Houston Oaks Country Club.
Play in Pool D began in the morning as TCU faced Baylor. The Horned Frogs' Charlie Wylie won his third-straight match of the event, 4&2. Scott Roden tied his match with Drew Wrightson. Joe Pagden took his match the distance but fell 1UP to Zach Heffernan. Toby Wilt and Ethan Dial dropped their matches as the Bears took it 3.5-1.5.
Pagdin (1UP) and Wilt (4&2) won their matches over Iowa State in the afternoon. Wylie dropped his first match of the event, a close 1UP loss to Owen Sawyer. Roden and Jack Beauchamp fell in their matches as the Cyclones won 3-2-0.
The Horned Frogs will face Houston Wednesday morning at 7:45 a.m.
