Bella Diorio Named Big 12 Player of the Week

Honor is first of her career
FORT WORTH - Bella Diorio has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week after she totaled three goals and two assists last week. The No. 9 ranked TCU women's soccer team went 2-0 with road wins at UCF and at Iowa State. Diorio was also named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week.
Against UCF, Diorio netted the game-winning goal in the 72nd minute and added an assist. She led the Frogs with five shots in the contest.
Diorio recorded her second brace of the season at Iowa State Sunday in the 4-1 win. Diorio scored in the sixth minute and 50th minute while adding an assist.
Diorio is tied for first in the Big 12 in goals scored with 10 and second in the league in points with 24.
No. 9 TCU (13-2-2, 8-0-2 Big 12) will head to Stillwater to take on Oklahoma State on Friday. First touch is set for 7 p.m. and the match will be televised on ESPN+.
