Darkness Ends Day 1 Early in Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. – TCU men's golf ended the first day of the Arizona NIT in 16^th place as darkness ended play early Monday at the Catalina Course at Omni Tucson National.

The Horned Frogs finished the first round in 10^th place after shooting 3-under 284. The team played 13 holes in round two before darkness came to the desert.

Gustav Frimodt is tied for 40^th place to lead the Frogs at 2-under. The senior led the Frogs in the opening round with a score of 3-under 69. Included in the round were three birdies and one eagle, which happened on the par 5 No. 2 hole.

Toby Wilt shot 2-under through 13 holes in the second round. He finished the day tied for 48^th place.

Jack Beauchamp recorded five birdies and shot 2-under 70 in the opening round. He finished the day tied for 58^th place at even-par overall.

The second round will resume for all teams at 9:30 a.m. CT. The final round will begin immediately following the conclusion of the second round.
