
Beauchamp Earns Top 20 Finish at Colonial

TCU finishes in 13th place
FORT WORTH – Competing in the toughest tournament in college golf this season, senior Jack Beauchamp earned his second-straight top 20 finish on Tuesday at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational presented by Charles Schwab.
Beauchamp shot 1-over 71 in the final round at Colonial Country Club to finish 3-over 213 and tie for 17th place. He tied for third at the Bearcat Invitational on Sept. 16.
Charlie Wylie tied for 39th place at 7-over 217. Included in his Tuesday round of 4-over 74 was an eagle on the par 4 No. 3 hole.
Toby Wilt also shot 4-over 74 and was one shot back of Wylie for the tournament at 8-over 218. He finished in a tie for 42nd place.
Freshman Nathan Miller finished 7-over 221 and tied for 52nd.
In the 15-team field, 13 of the teams are currently ranked in the top 25. As a team, TCU finished tied for 13th at 28-over 868. The Frogs tied with No. 16 Texas A&M and finished two-strokes better than No. 21 Georgia. It was TCU's best finish at the event since 2023 when it finished 9th out of 16 teams.
There was a four-way tie for the team championship with North Carolina, Texas, Vanderbilt and Virginia all at 10-over par.
Georgia Tech's Albert Hansson won a five-way playoff to earn an exemption into the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge. Hansson made an 8-foot birdie putt on the 18th green to win it.
