LUBBOCK, Texas – The Horned Frogs nearly pulled off another stunner on Saturday.

An announced 7,530 spectators inside United Supermarkets Arena squirmed early, as TCU raced out to a 21-9 lead one minute into the second quarter. TCU later erased a 12-point second half hole and tied the Big 12 bout at 62-62 with 7:08 to go. The Horned Frogs committed four turnovers and went without a field goal over the ensuing six minutes, allowing the Lady Raiders to escape.

Agnes Emma-Nnopu led all scorers with 19 points behind a 3-3 clip from distance. The 5-11 guard notched 13 of her points in the first half.
Aaliyah Roberson added a trio of 3-pointers to TCU's tally. Roberson produced her third double-double of the season, finishing with 15 points and 10 boards across a game-high 37 minutes.

Una Jovanovic tied for the game-lead in assists with five.
Turnovers, offensive rebounds and free throws were the difference.
TCU was pestered into 22 giveaways. Seven of the turnovers came in the second quarter.
Texas Tech (16-6, 5-4 Big 12) outscored the Horned Frogs 25-8 in the frame on its way to a 32-26 halftime lead. Up 12 points, TCU found itself on the wrong end of a 17-0 Lady Raider scoring run over a six-minute spell.
The Lady Raiders doubled up the Horned Frogs on the offensive glass (15-7) en route to a 36-14 advantage in points in the paint.
Texas Tech was also the benefactor of 21 free throw attempts compared to 12 for TCU. The Horned Frogs did not attempt their first free throw until there were 32 seconds remaining in the first half.
Consecutive 3-pointers by Roberson and Emma-Nnopu sparked a 10-0 TCU run to put the Horned Frogs on top 12-4 less than six minutes into the game. Back-to-back buckets from deep from Manumaleuga and Emma-Nnopu then gave TCU its largest lead of the afternoon at 15-5 with 2:34 left in the first quarter.
TCU scored on nine of its final 11 third quarter as a part of a 26-point period. Problem was, Texas Tech kept pace, as the Lady Raiders converted six of their last eight attempts from the field to take a 59-52 lead into the fourth quarter.
