Team Notes
*The attendance of 51,243 was the second-largest in TCU history, surpassed only by the 53,294 for the season opener against Colorado.
*TCU had its second sellout of the season and fifth in its past seven home games dating back to last season.
*TCU held its opponent without an offensive touchdown for nearly 10 quarters before SMU reached the end zone with 2:54 left in the first half. The Mustangs' other touchdown came with 1:47 remaining in the game.
*Sonny Dykes is the fastest TCU head coach to 16 wins since Francis Schmidt was 16-0-2 in his opening 18 contests from 1929-30.
*Dykes has been the winning head coach in each of the last four games between the Horned Frogs and Mustangs. Prior to his arrival at TCU, Dykes led SMU to its first consecutive victories over TCU (2019, 2021) since 1992-93.
*TCU was plus-2 in turnover margin and is 16-0 under Dykes when ahead or even in that category.

Offense
*Chandler Morris totaled 299 yards of offense. He completed 23-of-32 passes for 261 yards and a career-best three touchdowns with no interceptions while adding 38 yards rushing on six carries.
*Morris has passed for at least two touchdowns in each game this season.
*Emani Bailey's team-best 126 yards rushing gave him his third 100-yard game in four contests this season.
*Bailey's 25 carries were the most by a Horned Frog since Kendre Miller had 29 in last year's win over Kansas State.
*Jared Wiley had the first multiple touchdown game of his career with scoring grabs of 9 and 2 yards.
*Wiley has a team-best three touchdown receptions on the season. Seven other Horned Frogs have one scoring catch.
*Wiley tied a career-high with his team-best five receptions for 37 yards. He also had five catches earlier this season against Colorado and in last year's win over Kansas State.
*Chase Curtis scored his first career touchdown on a 36-yard reception. He had two catches for 55 yards in the game.

*Josh Newton had his first interception of the season, fourth as a Horned Frog and seventh of his career.
*Bud Clark had an interception for the second straight game to give him a team-best two on the season. His seven career picks top all current Horned Frogs.
*Mark Perry's eight tackles were one shy of a TCU career-best.
*Jamoi Hodge had seven tackles, including 1.5 for loss, with three quarterback hurries.

*Jordy Sandy had a punt downed at the SMU 2 after placing one at the Houston 1 last week. He is donating $20 to Fort Worth's Hope Center for Autism for every punt inside the 20-yard line. He's up to $80 this season. He did the same last year and totaled $360.
*Griffin Kell had field goals of 35 and 24 yards to make him 7-of-10 on the season. He is also donating $20 to Fort Worth's Hope Center for Autism for every made kick. He is at $140 this season.
