Sanders rushes for 3 TDs in his TCU debut, Bailey runs for career-high 164 yards

Team Notes
*Today's attendance of 53,294 set a new TCU home game record, shattering the previous mark of 50,307 for a 2009 contest against Utah. Another record was set for student attendance with 6,663, 54.3 percent of TCU's enrollment. It's the sixth time in the last seven home games for a new mark for TCU students.
*TCU opened its campaign with Colorado for the second straight season and one year to the day from last year's 38-13 win in Boulder. The last two seasons mark the only career meetings between the future Big 12 rivals.
*TCU's eight-game home winning streak was snapped. It was the sixth-longest among Power 5 programs.
*TCU had won its previous nine games against Pac-12 opponents.
*TCU Head Coach Sonny Dykes is 2-2 against Colorado, including 1-1 with the Horned Frogs.
*TCU is now 2-1 with Big Noon Kickoff on-site.
*The Horned Frogs dropped a season opener for only the second time in the last 10 seasons and third time in the past 21. TCU is 77-41-9 all-time in season debuts.
*TCU has won 20 of its last 22 home openers.
*TCU scored for the 383rd consecutive game, the second-longest streak in NCAA history. No. 1 is Florida at 437 games (1988-present). The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).

Offense
*Trey Sanders had rushing scores of 1, 7 and 4 yards in his TCU debut. He totaled 46 yards on 15 carries.
*Sanders had TCU's first game with three rushing touchdowns since Kendre Miller at Texas Tech in 2021.
*Emani Bailey ran for a career-high 164 yards on 14 carries. His previous best was 117 yards for Louisiana against Appalachian State in 2021.
*Bailey had TCU's most rushing yards since Miller's 185 at Texas Tech in 2021.
*Bailey's career-best 74-yard run was TCU's longest since Miller had a 75-yard rushing touchdown in last year's 17-10 win at Texas. The 74-yard carry also doubled Bailey's previous long of 37.
*Chandler Morris' 24 completions were spread among 12 receivers. He passed for 279 yards and two scores while adding 30 yards rushing on five carries, including a 19-yard touchdown.
*In his TCU debut, JP Richardson had a team-best six catches for 63 yards.
*Jared Wiley tied a career-best with five receptions for 60 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown. Wiley also had five receptions in last year's win over Kansas State.
*Wiley's scoring grab gave him five at TCU and eight in his career.
*Jack Bech recorded three catches for 34 yards in his TCU debut.
*Dylan Wright had two receptions for 44 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown, in his first game as a Horned Frog.
*Chase Curtis had two receptions for 15 yards after entering the game with one career catch.

*Johnny Hodges had a team-best nine tackles, including a sack. It was two shy of his TCU personal-best 11 in last year's win at Texas.
*Bud Clark tied Hodges for team-high honors with a career-best nine tackles. His previous top effort was eight against Kansas State in last year's Big 12 Championship Game.
*Jamoi Hodge totaled eight tackles, including two for loss with a sack, while also recording two quarterback hurries.
*Caleb Fox had his first sack as a Horned Frog as part of four tackles.
*Paul Oyewale also had his first career sack while recording three stops.
*Millard Bradford had his second career forced fumble and fumble recovery.
*Fox, Oyewale and cornerback Avery Helm made their first career starts as Horned Frogs.

*TCU's Namdi Obiazor had TCU's first blocked field goal since Ochaun Mathis against West Virginia in 2021.
*Major Everhart had an 86-yard kickoff return, TCU's longest since Derius Davis returned the opening kickoff 100 yards versus West Virginia in 2021.
*Jordy Sandy placed one punt inside the 20. He is donating $20 to Fort Worth's Hope Center for Autism for every punt inside the 20-yard line. He did the same last season and totaled $360.
