Horned Frogs will face a new-look Big 12 Conference
FORT WORTH โ The Big 12 announced the conference scheduling matrix for the 2023-24 men's basketball season on Thursday.

Teams will play five Big 12 opponents twice, then play the other eight conference opponents once, for a total of 18 conference games. This is different from previous seasons when all 10 Big 12 teams played each opponent home and away.

TCU will play home and away games with Baylor, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Texas Tech and West Virginia. The Frogs will play only at home against UCF, Houston, Oklahoma and Texas. Road games only will be against BYU, Kansas, Kansas State and Oklahoma State.

Opponents were selected based on a combination of geography, historical results and a poll of the coaches to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitive balance. The complete Big 12 schedule with dates, times and television networks will be announced at a later date.

TCU returns five players, including two regular starters from last season's team that went 22-13 overall and 9-9 with a fifth-place finish in the Big 12 Conference. All-Big 12 performer Emanuel Miller is the Horned Frogs' leading returning scorer after averaging 12.3 points and 6.5 rebounds. ย Jamie Dixon is in his eighth season as TCU's head coach and 21stย overall.ย
