
TCU Wraps Up Competition at NCAA West Regional

The Frogs begin competition at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Wednesday, June 7
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – TCU concluded competition at the NCAA West Regional on Saturday night at Hornet Stadium at Fred Anderson Field.
In the women's 100m, Iyana Gray finished 18th overall with her time of 11.31. She also competed in the 200m, but came up short of qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships with her time of 23.38.
Gray had a stellar first year as a Horned Frog, garnering podium finishes in both the 100m and 200m at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships. She was also crowned TCU's first ever 100m Penn Relays Champion this season.
In the women's 800m, Jasmin Muhammad-Graham wrapped up her stellar season with a 2:07.28, placing 19th overall. Muhammad-Graham clocked a personal-best 2:06.66 on Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals.
The women's 4x100 team of Rachel Hall, Gray, Samarra Monrroy and Dreunna Washington placed 21st with their season-best time of 44.48.
Heading into her second consecutive NCAA West Regional 1500m Quarterfinal, Gracie Morris suffered a lower body injury and was unable to complete the race. The junior has shined all season long, garnering bronze in the 1500m at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships and breaking her own 800m and 1500m school records.
