Brown, James, Seete and Maketa run season-best 3:02.62

AUSTIN, Texas – TCU's men's 4x400 team garnered Second Team All-American honors in its final race of the season at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Wednesday night at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Ethan Brown, Donnie James, David Seete and Simbarashe Maketa finished 14th overall with their time of 3:02.62, a season best and the fourth fastest outdoor time in program history.

The 4x400 team's season was nothing short of spectacular. The squad of Brown, James, Seete and Ryan Jordan brought home TCU's first Penn Relays title since 2008, running a time of 3:04.41.

Brown, James, Seete and Jordan also garnered bronze at this season's Big 12 Outdoor Championships with their then season-best time of 3:03.92. At the NCAA West Regional, Brown, James, Seete and Maketa placed 12th overall and qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships with their time of 3:05.20.
