SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The TCU women's golf team will compete at the NCAA Championships beginning Friday at 9:27 a.m. C.T. in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The four-day tournament will be played at the Raptor Course at the Grayhawk Golf Club and will consist of 18 holes each day.
The top 15 teams and top nine individuals on non-advancing teams will play for the NCAA Team and Individual Championship starting on Monday, May 22. The top eight teams will advance to a match-play style 72-hole championship from May 23-24.
THE COURSE – Raptor Course, Grayhawk Golf Club – Par 72 – 6,384 yards
Opened in 1995, the Raptor Course at the Grayhawk Golf Club will be hosting its third-consecutive NCAA Men's and Women's Golf National Championships. The course was designed by the world-renowned golf course architect Tom Fazio, who also designed the likes of Adare Manor, Firestone Country Club, PGA National, Quail Hallow, TPC Myrtle Beach and many more. The course records roughly 78,000 rounds-per-year, while offering MiniVerde bermudagrass on the greens and overseeded ryegrass on the fairways. The desert-style course is set in McDowell Mountain Preserve, with views of the mountain throughout the course.
