Big 12 Match Play continues from Scottsdale
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The TCU women's golf team picked up two victories in day two of Big 12 Match Play, defeating No. 4 seed Oklahoma State 3-1-1 and No. 5 seed Texas Tech 3-2-0, respectively to earn a spot in the championship bracket.
Trinity King dominated in second day, defeating Oklahoma State's Clemence Martin 4&2 and Texas Tech's Lauren Zaretsky 3&2. King won by a total of seven points in both her matches, putting her record at 2-4 for the week.
Caitlyn Macnab displayed her skill again in day two, defeating Oklahoma State's Maddison Hinson-Tolchard 1-up and Texas Tech's Gala Dumez 2&1, respectively. Macnab remained undefeated after three rounds.
Lois Lau defeated Oklahoma State's Hailey Jones 5&3 and Texas Tech's Chiara Horder 2-up before defeating Texas' Bentley Cotton 3&2, improving her record to 4-3 for the tournament.
