The Horned Frogs wrap up the regular season
FORT WORTH – TCU aims to have a strong finish to the regular season as the Horned Frogs compete at the Penn Relays (April 27-29) in Philadelphia, Pa., and the Oliver Jackson Twilight (April 27) in Abilene, Texas.

Last Time Out
Jaren Holmes recorded a 16.40m (53' 9.75") to win the triple jump finals at the Michael Johnson Invitational. The senior is now fourth in on TCU's all-time outdoor records list, and his mark is No. 7 in the NCAA this season.
Gracie Morris rewrote a third school record, this time in the 800m. Morris' kick propelled her from third to first in the final 300m as she ran a 2:03.97, her personal-best by over one second and the 21st-fastest time in the NCAA this season. She has now been a part of the 800m, 1500m and DMR school records this season.
Both men's relay teams ran season-bests. In the men's 4x100, Emmanuel Ekong, Donnie James, Jais Smith and Simbarashe Maketa clocked a 39.69 to finish second overall.
The men's 4x400 team of James, Maketa, Ethan Brown and David Seete clocked a season-best 3:04.30 to finish third overall, currently tied for the No. 24 mark in the NCAA this season.

Big 12 Athletes of the Week
TCU swept the Big 12 Athlete of the Week awards on March 22. With her three wins at the TCU Alumni Invite, Gray garnered TCU's first female Big 12 Athlete of the Week award since 2021. She currently leads the Big 12 in both the 100m and the 4x100 relay. On the men's side, Mudzengerere's victory in the triple jump earned Big 12 Athlete of the Week after leading the Big 12 in the triple jump.
USTFCCCA #EventSquad
The men's triple jump squad (Jaren Holmes, Theophilus Mudzengerere, Gavin Champ, Patrick Sylla and Damilare Olukosi) rank No. 2 in the USTFCCCA's #EventSquad rankings with a combined average leap of 15.79m (51' 9.75"). Both Holmes (No. 7) and Mudzengerere (No. 14) are ranked in the Top 25 on the NCAA Outdoor Performance List.
2022 Indoor Season Recap
Both Grace Anigbata and Jaren Holmes garnered Second Team All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Anigbata finished 10th overall with her school-record leap of 13.58m (44' 6.75").
On the men's side, Holmes finished ninth with his mark of 16.23m (53' 3"). It's the third time this indoor season he has cleared 16.10m and the first time he has garnered All-American honors.
