
Frogs Turn in its Best Score of Championship

TCU trio is tied for 11th
HUTCHINSON, Kan. – TCU shot its best round of the Big 12 Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club on Tuesday and is in fifth place.
Only two teams shot better than the Horned Frogs' 2-over 282. TCU moved to 18-over 858 for the championship, two strokes back of No. 21 Oklahoma State (+16) and six back of No. 14 Texas. No. 10 Oklahoma leads at 2-under 554.
Gustav Frimodt, Maxence Giboudot and Jacob Skov Olesen are all on the cusp of a top 10 finish and All-Tournament Team honors. The trio is tied for 11th place with a score of 4-over 214.
With the help of an eagle on the par 5 No. 7 hole, Frimodt fired a 1-under 69. Paired with world No. 1, Ludvig Aberg, Giboudot shot 2-over 72. The defending Big 12 Champion Aberg (+14) leads the championship by seven strokes after a 7-under 63 on Tuesday.
Olesen along with Aymeric Laussot finished the round with back-to-back birdies on No. 17 and 18. Laussot shot 1-under 69, his best round of the championship. The senior moved up seven spots to a tie for 16th place at 5-over 215.
TCU will begin the final round at 8 a.m. on Wednesday with Kansas on hole No. 1. Big 12 Now on ESPN+ will have the broadcast beginning at 10:30 a.m.
