
Frimodt Finishes Runner-up at Aggie Invitational

TCU finishes in fourth place
BRYAN, Texas – Gustav Frimodt finished tied for second at the Aggie Invitational Tuesday at Traditions Golf Club in Bryan, Texas.
The senior held a one-stroke lead with two holes to play after back-to-back birdies to separate from Louisville's Max Kennedy. However, Frimodt made double bogey on No. 17 and bogey on No. 18. Kennedy made par and double bogey to win by one-stroke at 7-under 209 over Frimodt and four others at 6-under 208.
After missing the last four weeks due to injury, Frimodt shot rounds of 67, 72 and 71 and tied the tournament lead with 16 birdies. He recorded his fourth top 10 finish of the season.
Aymeric Laussot moved up 26 spots to 14th place after shooting 4-under 68 on Tuesday. Laussot finished 1-under 215 and in the top 20 for the fourth time this season.
Freshman Maxence Giboudot finished tied for 34th at 4-over 220 and Jacob Skov Olesen was tied for 50th at 8-over 224.
The Horned Frogs finished in fourth place as a team at 1-under 863, just in front of No. 24 Baylor (+1). Louisville (-12) won the 13-team tournament.
TCU will next be in action at the Big 12 Championship, held at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan., April 24-26.
