
TCU in Third at Aggie Invitational

Two Frogs are in the top five after 36 holes
BRYAN, Texas – Gustav Frimodt and Maxence Giboudot are in the top five following a 36-hole day at the Aggie Invitational at Traditions Golf Club in Bryan, Texas on Monday.
Competing in his first tournament in four weeks after an injury, Frimodt made seven birdies and shot 5-under 67 in the first round. For his final 14 holes, Frimodt was an impressive 6-under par. He shot even-par 72 in the second round and is in fourth place with a score of 5-under 139. Max Kennedy of Louisville is the leader at 7-under 137.
Freshman Maxence Giboudot is one shot back and tied for fifth place at 4-under 140. He was 1-under 71 in the first round before going 4-under through the first six holes of the second round and finishing 3-under 69.
Jacob Skov Olesen is tied for 15th place at 1-under 143. He had rounds of even-par 72 and 1-under 71.
Aymeric Laussot recovered after an opening round 4-over 76 with a 1-under 71 in the second. He is tied for 40th place at 3-over 147.
As a team, TCU is in third place at 7-under 139 trailing Louisville (-20) and No. 15 Texas A&M (-9). The Horned Frogs will begin the final round Tuesday morning starting at 8:50 a.m.
