
TCU Runs Winning Streak To Six; Tops UTA 14-3

The Rundown
TCU opened the scoring with a pair of runs in the first on an RBI-double from Brayden Taylor and a two-out single from Karson Bowen.
Tied at two in the third, TCU took advantage of a lead-off error to take the lead as Luke Boyers scored on a two-out base knock from Cole Fontenelle.
Back-to-back three-run innings followed as TCU broke the game open. Silva home runs highlighted both frames. He had a two-run shot in the fourth and a three-run shot in the fifth to extend the TCU lead to seven, 9-2.
Two more runs crossed the plate in the sixth. Karson Bowen doubled home the first run of the frame and Fontenelle scored on a passed ball to extend the lead to 11-2. Cole Fontenelle's three run blast in the ninth capped the game scoring for TCU.
Braeden Sloan (2-2) picked up the win after allowing two runs on four hits. He struck out a career-high seven. Chase Hoover, Cohen Feser and River Ridings each tossed a scoreless inning.
