Women's Golf Heads Out West for the MountainView Collegiate

FORT WORTH, TX – The TCU's women's golf team returns to their spring campaign on Friday at the Mountain View Collegiate Invitational hosted by Kansas State. The three-day tournament will be played at Sadddlebrooke Mountain View Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona. The tournament will consist of 18 holes each day.

THE COURSE – SaddleBrooke Mountain View Golf Club – Par 72 – 6,728 yards
Welcome to the 18-hole golf course set in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains in Tucson, Arizona. Opened in 1997, Mountainview Golf Club was designed by Gary Panks, who has designed numerous courses in America. The course sits at an elevation of 3,200 feet and features four par-5's and four par-3's. The open layout of the course often makes for windy conditions that add to the desert style course, challenging each golfer.
Saddlebrooke Mountain View Golf Club has hosted the event ever since its creation in 1999, after there was a need for a collegiate event in the area. Now, the event hosts anywhere from 13 to 15 teams from Divisions I, II and III.
