
No. 2 TCU Falls in Hard-fought Battle in Stillwater

STILLWATER, Okla. – The No. 2 Horned Frogs lost their top-10 matchup against the Cowgirls at Saturday's meet in Oklahoma. After a whirlwind battle, the final score came out 11-9.
The meet started out in the Fences arena, where Sydney Berube secured TCU's first point on Bentley with an 80. Ashleigh Scully pulled in another point in the event with another 80 on Zodiac. The Frogs finished Fences with a score of 3-2, Pokes up.
Horsemanship commenced around the same time, with Jessica McAllister snagging the first point and the MOP for the event with an 80 on Chili. Giorgia Medows also reeled in a point with a 73.5 on Ozzy. The discipline ended with a score of 3-2, Oklahoma State.
The competition picked back up with Reining, where Mattie Dukes pulled the first point, riding Cowgirl for a 68.5. Lannie-Jo Lisac gathered in another point and the MOP for the event with a 72.5 on Boss. The event ended with a score of 3-2, Cowgirls.
The action then moved to the Flat arena, where the Frogs took the majority, 3-2. Wynne Weatherly secured the first TCU point, riding Acora for an 81. Sydnie Young snatched the second point and the MOP with a score of 83 on Clever. Ashleigh Scully pulled in the last Frog point with a 76 on Gunner to her opponent's 68.
